About Me

Laurel Gill is a Lieutenant in the United States Navy and aspiring to be a professional golfer.

She graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science in Oceanography and a minor in French. While at the Naval Academy, Laurel was a member of the Power Lifting Team, qualifying for nationals two years as well as the Women’s Glee club.

Additionally, she created the USNA Women’s Golf Team allowing for a Women’s Golf Patriot League.

After graduation she reported to Pensacola, Florida to begin flight training and continued on to complete Primary Flight Training in Corpus Christi, TX.

In 2013 she transitioned to a Meteorology Oceanography officer and was stationed at the Fleet Weather Center San Diego and Strike Group Oceanography Team until 2017 when she transferred to NMORA 1994.
